Fall 2022 is officially here! 😀🎉

What 3D movies 🎥 will be available for your enjoyment in the Autumn / Fall 🍂 of 2022❓

This preview will educate you on all the upcoming 3-D movies and recently released 3D releases. We have some noteworthy re-releases, some long awaited movies and some sequels and some new movies. We got a little bit of everything!


Some Caveats …

The various movie release dates below are subject to change at any time. Furthermore 3D releases may vary between the various nations around the world. Some movies may only release in 3D in locations outside of the United States, and vice versa. Even if a specific movie does have a 3D version available your local theaters may decide to not have 3D screenings or to have very limited 3D showings. World events (Covid-19 pandemic, Monkey Pox pandemic, Wars, etc) can impact movie release dates for your specific region. Some movies may move to streaming platforms instead of receiving theatrical releases. Welcome to The Terrible 20’s ! 2020, 2021 and 2022 have been crazy, hectic years for recent human history.

Decisions on the 3D and 2D release of certain films may not be decided until weeks or days before its release. We did our best to fact check this article and provide you with the most accurate information possible at the time of publication. This article is a living document and it will be updated regularly as needed as information changes. We are not 100% confident that all these movies below will be released in 3D. Therefore we created a basic probability scale to compliment this preview. Probability rates and release dates are only based for the United States. It is extremely difficult to know if X movie will release in 3D in Y nation, as that information isn’t always widely available. Therefore we limited this probability scale is for the United States region since that is where the vast majority of the web traffic to 3Dor2D originates from.

Spider-Man: No Way Home - The More Fun Stuff Edition

We currently do not know if this remastered version includes any new or additional scenes or if it is only the theatrical cut.

We fully expect Black Adam to release in 3D. That being said WB has been iffy lately about releasing its movies in 3D (DC League of Superpets, Joker). Since this looks more family friendly this movie it probably has a better chance of releasing in 3D than other recent DC Comic movies (The Suicide Squad, The Batman, Birds of Prey) .

Sadly Black Adam never released in 3D.
