No 3D movie reviews for Morbius , Sonic 2, Fantastic Beasts 3, Turning Red , The Batman and The Bad Guys
You may have noticed that many recent movie releases haven’t been reviewed here at 3dor2d.com. This is simply because no 3D versions are currently available.
The Following movies did not get 3D theatrical US Releases (To Our Knowing):
The Batman
Turning Red
Morbius
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
The following upcoming movies don’t appear to be getting a 3D release (To Our knowing):
Fantastic Beasts The Secrets of Dumbledore
Maybe some of the above movies got 3D releases in certain limited US locations, but none of those locations were near where our staff reside. It seems like many major movies are skipping 3D releases altogether in 2022. We don’t know why this is. We will have 2D movie podcast reviews on Patreon , but no written 2D only movie reviews / podcasts will be here on this website.
We assume that many of the movies listed above may have gotten 3D conversions, but who knows if they will ever be publicly released (theatrically or on 3D Blu-ray). I’m not sure what the deal is. Maybe the above movies will get 3D releases in other parts of the world. We simply don’t know. Maybe we will get lucky and 3D versions of the above movies will eventually release, but if that happens we aren’t aware of those plans. We do what we can do with what is made available to us. We appreciate you visiting our website and we thought that you would appreciate this transparency. When 3D movies are released and we are able to review them we will. Hopefully this trend doesn’t continue in 2022 and we get some awesome 3D movies, we shall see. We wish that he had better news but it is what it is. Take care .
