9. REVENGE OF THE CREATURE (1955)

The only 1950’s 3D movie to get a 3D sequel. This movie isn’t nearly as good as the first movie, but it is still very good film with great 3D.

One of the most iconic science fiction movies of all-time, Creature From the Black Lagoon is a groundbreaking classic showcasing Hollywood magic at its best. When scientists exploring the Amazon River stumble upon a 'missing link' connecting humans and fish, they plan to capture it for later study.

This movie has the best underwater 3D photography (before Avatar 2 The Way of Water). Overall this is a good 1950’s Universal monster movie.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

1. HOUSE OF WAX (1953)

In the wicked performance that crowned him the movie's master of the macabre, Vincent Price plays a renowned wax sculptor plunged into madness when an arsonist destroys his life's work. Unable to use his flame-scarred hands, he devises a new - and murderous - way of restocking his House of Wax.

The first 3D horror movie and the gold standard. This movie made Vincent Price a horror icon. Considered by many to be the greatest 3D movie ever made.
